SHEBA

My name is Sheba and I sadly found myself in the care of Ferne's when one of my owners passed away and the other was no longer able to take care of me. Shelters were at max capacity and I was being turned away from all of them due to my age and shyness. But Ferne's gave me a chance, and while the first couple of weeks were difficult, we pulled through. I went from being shut down, not eating and almost at the point where the people here at the rescue were facing making a difficult decision of letting me go, to interacting, playing with dogs and even telling dogs off like I owned the place. This was a very welcome development and I continue to thrive here. I love to boss the other dogs around and at the very young age of 12, I continue to be a force to be reckoned with.
