Ferne's is currently registered under the Alberta Societies Act, but is not registered with the CRA so we can not issue tax receipts at this time. If you are interested in making a monetary donation we can accept cash, check or e-transfer.

All general donations will be used to cover the costs of caring for the animals in our care. These costs include; vet care, food, enrichment supplies, bedding, pet supplies (kennels, collars, leashes, etc.), cleaning supplies, power and water, and heating.
EXAMPLES OF HOW YOUR DONATION HELPS:
$20 = box of cat litter
$60 = one month's worth of arthritis medication for the sanctuary crew
$100 = yearly health check and vaccines for one animal
$200 = a chain link panel for the dog runs
$550 = shelter utilities for one month

high quality adult dog food (i.e. Acana or Kirkland)
high quality cat food
Dog treats
Cleaning supplies such as paper towel, laundry detergent and all purpose cleaner
Straw
Cat litter

Do you have a lot of empties piling up at your place and no time to drop them off at the bottle depot? Download the Skip The Depot app and donate your bottles to Fernes.
