Tilly

Tilly came from a hoarding situation. She escaped her horrible life, covered in war wounds and emaciated; then, our wonderful volunteer Lenard spent a day live trapping her. Tilly is an odd doggo and on a daily basis decides whether she’s participating in life or hiding in the surrounding bush and acting like an unhinged cat.

Tilly tells all the animals she will rip their throats out should they dare come near her and her pen; then, she proves to be very welcoming when the clean up crew (horses, cows and alpaca) come in to complete their lawn mowing duties, or when a dog needs to enter and share her space. Tilly is the opposite of "F around and find out"; she is far more “Puff up, puff up, they hate that,” and if you get that reference you know that Ferne's Acres IS straight out of the Gully.

Tilly is 7 years old, and her unique personality makes us love her; however, the fact she spent well over a year telling Britt, one of her wonderful caretakers, to F off makes me giggle every time I see her. She since stopped lipping Britt off…. lame but understandable.
